Established in 2003 florist2florist is run by father and son team John and Simon Stirling.
Together they have experience in the unusual combination of floristry and computer technology.
John had previously run "Clarity Software" - a computer firm writing software for small businesses and Simon had run the family florist business for 3 years before joining his father when they set up "florist2florist"
The company set out with a different vision for florists in the UK. They offered an alternative to established relay services.
florist2florist enabled florists to pay one another with MasterCard/Visa and enjoy no monthly fees or annual fees. The introduction of their broadband software saw the company rocket in terms of registrations and downloads - not just from the UK but from florists all around the world.
There are now over 700 UK florists using florist2florist and the new software version 2 enables them to launch the product internationally, starting with USA and Canada. Australia and New Zealand to follow (March 2007)
